Trained in leather goods and saddlery at the prestigious French luxury house Hermès, Margot Staerman, designer and founder of Margot Leathercraft, has always been immersed in the world of craftsmanship and equestrianism.
With 11 years of experience in luxury leather goods, she first worked in production before specializing as a prototypist and product developer for renowned fashion houses and designers. Her technical expertise and deep knowledge of materials allow her to oversee the design and industrialization of exceptional pieces.
She also shares her expertise as a trainer, helping to implement and optimize manufacturing processes for iconic collections.
In 2020, she made her dream a reality: creating and producing sustainable, high-quality leather goods, faithful to the standards of artisanal excellence. Each piece is designed to stand the test of time. This marked the birth of Margot Leathercraft.

All Margot Leathercraft creations are meticulously crafted in the designer’s workshop in Normandy, using traditional techniques. Every step of the process—from pattern-making to cutting, assembling, and finishing—is carried out in-house.
